This chunky textured runner is made from plaited Indian jute, which boasts a naturally silvered colour. Equally suited to both hard floors and carpets, it’s just the thing to bring a fresh and rustic look to any space, and is ideal for protecting hardworking parts of the home, such as kitchens, hallways and living rooms.

• Due to the nature of woven and tufted rugs, loose fibres are likely to shed, though this will diminish over time

Sustainability
• Jute is a natural fibre that doesn’t rely on insecticides or pesticides, making it completely biodegradable. The plant reaches maturity quickly – between four and six months – so it is an incredibly efficient source of renewable materials. Relying on natural rainfall (rather than extensive and energy-consumptive irrigation systems), it also absorbs carbon dioxide and releases oxygen much faster than trees, and enhances the fertility of the soil it grows in for future crops.

Stunning rug for my entrance hall. The quality is outstanding. Highly recommended!
Beautiful runner, very well made. Thicker than I expected, stands proud of the floor by a few centimetres so caution if that would prove a trip hazard.
