Sustainability
Rattan is a strong natural fibre that grows abundantly, without any fertilisers, in the rainforests of Indonesia and Vietnam. Locals harvest it by hand, cutting the rattan lianas from the stem, and cleaning the fibres before they are naturally dried in the sun. Afterwards, rattan products are hand-woven by skilled craftspeople. The colouring of kubu is a completely natural process. For grey kubu, the natural kubu is soaked in mud to achieve a brown colour, then boiled in water above a fire.

Love my new table mats and coasters
Nice product although they are pricey compared to others . I bought them to match the basket I already had .
Gorgeous Placemats. Very robust and easy to keep clean. Look great with matching coasters and large oval placemats on our table. More expensive than other suppliers but worth the extra for the luxe look and robustness.

Lovely placemats, really hard wearing and only need a wipe with a damp cloth to clean. They don’t scratch my table and are large enough for a dinner plate and a knife and fork. Would buy again and highly recommend
